For those who are celebrating, a very Merry Christmas, to you and yours.

One week before Christmas, and I may or may not have only started ordering presents today... Lots of people are going to get "it's on the way" cards under the tree this year!

Just completed the second weekend in a row of driving over 1,000 miles. I’m so grateful for adaptive cruise control!

The first snow of the year always makes me want to move somewhere tropical. Not a fan!

No matter how much traveling I do between the northeast US and the west coast, I still get caught up with the time changes.

Replaced two Steam Deck SSDs in less than 30 minutes total. Super simple, I’m glad we went with the less expensive option initially!

24 hours of nonstop rain is getting a little old.

1.5 hour wait at the DMV this morning! Because of course their online system isn’t working.

Seven hours later, and the very beginnings of a digital garden are taking shape! I’m using Obsidian, GitHub, 11ty, and Vercel.

Inspired by , I am now intrigued by the concept of Digital Gardens. I really doubt that I have time to fall down this rabbit hole, but here we go anyway!

Still working on the day job at 11:30pm? I need more hours in my day/week/month, or lower expectations. Ideally both.

Pulled up to my job for today (at a middle school), only to see four ambulances in front, nobody in the office, and nobody else around. Scary moment until I found out the teachers have CPR training today.

Well, I didn’t think I was getting old, until an afternoon of wine tasting left me exhausted and with a headache. I’m sure the time change didn’t help either.
