After going to read Filterworld over coffee and while waiting to see if a dramatic price reduction finally sells that Makita, I tried to get an Amazon credit card just because the $100 gift card with approval would combine with my existing balance to get me the new Kobo, but being unemployed and supported by family means no instant approval and an additional check, so it was worth a shot but I’m going to say this didn’t work.
