I'm willing to pay out of pocket to have the apps I want on my work computer. I can do that because I work in IT. Some people will think that's weird, but I like what I like, and I don't want to use inferior tools. I'm already grateful because they're letting me order a Mac to manage a mostly PC network (with a VM ).
